Campaigning for Education

The John Roan NEU believes that education is a right not a priviledge. We believe in comprehensive education so that all children have access to an education that embraces and develops their talents and interests. We are very proud to be teachers working at The John Roan.

The School has  served the local community for over 300 years and we hope to play our part in making sure that it continues to work with all our children in the community and prepare them for life after school. We pride ourselves on creating a caring and nurturing environment. We believe that the working environment of teachers is the learning environment for students. As a trade union we campaign to defend comprensive education and to make sure our workplace is a safe and happy place for the school community.
